“Reshma” pays homage to the age-old styles of ghararas. Being born in the ethnic soils of Lucknow, gharars depicted aristocracy, sophistication, and class amongst the bearers and soon became the ideal choice for wedding outfits. Paired with an intrinsically designed and embroidered red organza Kurti, adorned with intricate zari and zardozi details and cutwork sleeves, the pink jamawar gharara lends a royal and rich spirit to Reshma. The crystals wrapped with pure weaved jamawar borders and trimmings.
“Noor Jehan”, a magenta heavily embellished front open paneled pishwas, heavily hand-embellished with sequins and crystals front and back, and bedecked with Resham, tilla, dabka and nakshi. The extensive ornamentation of the Mughal era with multi-colored geometric applique borders paired with an all-over elaborate jaal work featuring bejeweled Mughal motifs rendered on raw silk.
